This printer is designed for professional results using six different colors, as opposed to the four standard colors: cyan, magenta, yellow, and black, used by most other printers. In addition to these four colors, the 1280 uses light magenta and light cyan to more effectively reproduce the vibrancy of an original image, be it a photograph or logo. For the volume user, the 1280 adds extra value because it can be adapted to use a bulk feed system.
